I know its been a long time since I have posted, I lost my mojo and still really haven't got it back yet...I have found the wonderful art of paper crafting and it has got me hooked! I did however start to do a little more in the digital world. I have noticed that there is a new craze out there for Pennant Banners, I am currently working on one to hang in my craft room.I will soon have another grandchild. This will make 13 which is the exact number of the word GRANDCHILDREN. My banner will be thirteen pennants long with each of the childrens photo and their name... So today I was making a template to use for the pennant when I got side tracked and came up with this cute banner that I have posted above. All you need to do is click onto it and when it opens up just right click and save! Hope you like it ,have fun and enjoy!

My Summer Project

I am redecorating and I have found my rug and my color palette,. I am going to use three of the colors in the rug. I have included the color palette in the photo.. the wall coming down the stairs and the wall where the fireplace is will be the darker color(focal point) the other two colors will be the compliment colors(lighter colors). What I need is for you to tell me what 3 colors you would go with. I plan to use the three colors in the living room dining room and the kitchen. Each room will be uniquely different but will compliment the other rooms.

I have a couple of boy kits to give away today. One of them is called Dinosaurs Rule, the other is called Planes Trains and Automobiles. I hope you find some use for these, I am not real good on the boy stuff still learning what to do with them. I have 4 girls and only one boy who is the youngest, so you can imagine when I had him I had no ideas what to do with a boy!!! It was completely different from the girls on many levels! lol, and to think now I have 8 grandsons and only 2 granddaughters. So I am learning ALL about boys!!! But I love them all the same they are a great bunch of kids...Well enough of my ramblings and onto the good stuff.

I started this kit almost a year ago and finally figured out where to go with it...I went with a garden theme so I hope some of you can use it...Its not a real big kit but the things I made were a little large...I have also been playing around with a new Script I got from Joanns Digital Designs

Merry Christmas & a freebie

I hope you are all having a wonderful Christmas. Ours was good with the exception of my nephew and family involved in a head on collision which resulted in his wife being injured..By the grace of God she only had minor injuries which will heal with time and her hubby and kids walked away with only scratches...It was a terrifying evening for all of us but so thankful to still have them all here...

I have been working on how to make kids/children and come up with these really cute kids that I call Flower Kids. I thought I would post these today as a Christmas gift to all my cyber friends/fans. Turkey Lurkey

With just Thanksgiving a week away I thought I would throw together a mini kit. Turkey Lurkey was inspired by my grandmother who always had Thanksgiving at her house. I would love going there in the morning to help her cook and get things ready. She would take an apple and make a turkey out of it by poking tooth picks in it so it would stand up. Then she would already have the tail and the head and neck cut out of a piece of cardboard so I could color it with crayons. She would then make slits across the back of the apple for the tail and one in front for the neck to fit in...So in this kit I tried making one of those apple turkeys which by the way she called it Turkey Lurkey...I hope you enjoy this kit as much as I enjoyed those wonderful Thankgiving days at Grandmas.

I have been working on this one for a week and I am happy to say I really like this one...Gonna use this one with some of my old family photos.. Its called FAMILY HISTORY & these colors are perfect! I made backgrounds with old census records, old Plat Maps & old newspaper clippings...I made a 4 Generation Family Tree. There are key tags, frames, flowers, bows,journal page & more! I hope you enjoy it .

I had a couple of rose frames that I had painted and gave them a glass look..But I never did anything with them.. So I took the colors from that and made a new kit..I bought some more goodies and put some of them with it...I even learned how to make a pretty shiney hinge..Got more lace for you too...I made a QP for you also. Japanese Garden

It took alot of time for this one too...Its a mini kit...I call it Japanese Garden...I found this color pallette somewhere online and just loved it so I decided to use it....But soon it faded away and I had to put it up for a while....But today I finished it too...I only have one kit left to finish that I started months ago and its still giving me some problems so maybe in the near future I will get inspired by it again and finish it....This isn't my best but its not real bad....Hope you can use it. Well this one took some time..I started it about 2 months ago. I was not sure what to call it...I wanted it to be more of a masculine kit.. Then I decided to add a cute little horse and cowboy with the help of Scrappin Cops designs. She is really good at making elements.... So I guess you can say this can be used for a man or a boy.. The cowboy I used her paper doll kit but did all the decorating myself...I hope some of you find it useful...The download is below. The files were big again so there are three of them so be sure to snag them all..

Victorian Parlor

Digi Scrap Obsession's March Color Challenge by KimB is going on right now and the pallette is breathtaking. It reminded me of a Parlor..So this one I call Victorian Parlor. I made gloves, doileys & wall decorations..There is even an antique chair and table. This is my first time at making the gloves..They aren't real good but I think they came out ok...I hope some of you can use it...The colors are so very bright and vivid... This kit ended up being rather large so I have split it up into 4 downloads which are below..So have fun and enjoy! Also a little love would be nice too!!

Its amazing what 24 hrs can do with the right meds. although I had to stay home from work today and I slept til noon I am way better than I was last nite...This afternoon I felt up to creating some so I finished a kit for the color challenge at Stone Accent Studio..Its called Easter Egg Hunt. I finally got my new background done. This is made with my new kit Kiss Me I'm Irish which will hit the internet March 17th for the St. Patricks Day Twisted Convoy. I can't wait to get it posted. It really came out nice.

Digital Arts Cafe Feb. Color Challenge

I just love the first of the month. All the scrappin places are busy starting their new challenges for the month. This month is no exception! Digital Arts Cafe is in full swing. What a beautiful color swatch they had. I could not resist another Valentines kit. SO here is the first of 4 of them that will be available this month from me. Strawberry Shortcake

So who remembers Strawberry Shortcake...I had four girls and this doll was one of their favorites. SO they all had to have one...She smelled so good and they would take her everywhere.

I have had these png's of her around for a while so I thought why not make a little kit with them. I used some strawberries I extracted and some see through flowers by Bits & Bobs

& little lace pearled mini bows by Commercial Candy. I then used a Hat Box script by Blue Bird

Well I really had fun making this kit...Cottage Mouse is an adorable little girl mouse all dressed up, arms full of flowers in front of her country cottage. Home Sweet Home it is for her...Made with pretty blues, green & yellow. Lacey papers by Mystic Blue Raven. Chipboard notes with clips are made by Scrap Wizard. Gunhild Storeides beautiful paper scraps and Scrappin Cops folded paper flowers and retro overlays helped make this so cute... Banner Woman for her wonderful ribbons and bows. Cottage Mouse is my creation as well as her cottage, fence and little sign in her front yard.. Thanks to all of you who make these great CU items.
